Samoa-Falelatia-Pata, Lefaga – Matautu/NZ Pakeha

Liz joined MIT in May 2023 as part of the Te Ara Oranga Team as academic mentor – workforce development.

She brings with her a Nursing career spanning 19 years, in NZ and overseas. Liz was previously a Kaiako in MIT 2014 teaching Healthcare Assistance, First Aid and CPR and an interim Nursing clinical placement tutor. She was also previously a Nurse Educator in Health Workforce Development at ADHB (now Te Whatu Ora).

Liz is passionate about making a positive difference to the M¨¡ori and Pasifika youth, current students and MIT staff and the potential future health workforce.
