Biography
Robert's automotive career spans over 25 years. Growing up in South Africa, Robert started as an apprentice at Mercedes Benz in Johannesburg. In the time since, he has gained a wide variety of skills and experiences from automative roles held in South Africa, the UK and New Zealand.
Robert's career trajectory in South Africa was marked by his leadership as Workshop Manager for two of the largest Mercedes Benz dealerships in Johannesburg and as Service Manager at a Kia dealership. In 2016, he embraced a new challenge in the UK, working at a Mercedes Benz dealership in Southampton. His move to New Zealand is a testament to his adaptability and thirst for knowledge, as he has expanded his expertise to include electric vehicles, particularly the EQ range of Mercedes Benz.
Robert obtained his Mercedes Benz Systems Level Certification in 2008 and went on to achieve his Mercedes Benz Diagnostic Technician Certification in 2009.
