Beyond the Classroom: MIT ākonga network with industry giants at annual Career Fest

The bustling MIT Manukau and Tech Park campuses were recently transformed into a dynamic networking and career zone, thanks to the annual MIT Career Fest.
From tech giants to consulting firms, over 30 companies attended the fest, providing MIT ākonga an opportunity to meet face to face with potential employers and learn about the on-the-ground needs and demands of the industry.
Companies included Deloitte, DHL, Fisher & Paykel, Foodstuffs, Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand, Department of Corrections, WM (Waster Management), 2degree, Fulton Hogan, and Ventia, among others.
Designed to provide real-time interaction with employers, the fest turned the campus into a vibrant hub of activity where each company provided insights into their operations, culture, and career opportunities.
