However, I was astounded by the level of assistance and professionalism I have received from the careers and employment team who not only helped me improve my CV but also provided a very close to real life interview practice which prepared me well for the interview - the entire experience made me gain confidence and trust within my skills and eventually led me to successfully being offered employment with NZ's largest bank!

I have many friends who graduated and are struggling to find employment but I feel with MIT's education, guidance and self-desire to succeed, any prospective student will already have an advantage before getting out into the real world to find a job and build a great career.

“I would recommend our local businesses to consider MIT students for internships, so everyone has an opportunity to get a job out of it. We just all want to land a job.

In my final year of completing a Bachelor of Applied Management at MIT, I completed an internship as a digital coordinator with a digital marketing agency. I helped to get a new platform, aimed at the property market, off the ground. I learned a lot and my coursework prepared me well for my internship.

Studying at MIT and completing my industry placement has given me a lot of confidence. I have now been employed full-time with the agency where I completed my internship."
