Events and activities
Te Tari Mātauranga Māori regularly host activities for students and staff such as waiata and kapa haka practices and other major annual events including Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori, Matariki, and the Māori graduation celebration - Tuku Taonga.
Typical activities during the annual events have included workshops on cultural practices and Matuaranga Māori such as maramataka, the making and use of taonga puoro, arts and crafts, kapa haka, hikoi, word games and quizzes and of course kai.
