Michelle serves as Programme Director and Kaihapai at Ako M¨¡t¨¡tupu: Teach First NZ. She is a Polynesian theatre-maker and mother, post-doctoral scholar and former high school dropout, as well as the Creative Director of the Black Friars Theatre Company. Michelle is blessed to work in the spaces where education, equity and the performing arts meet for young brown scholars.
