Lois is Māori of Scottish and German descent. Her affiliated iwi are Ngati Kuri, Te Aupouri, Te Rarawa, Ngati Kahu, Ngai Takato.

I love working at MIT because of the diversity of the staff and students that reflect our community.
As a historical student of MIT who studied the Graduate Certificate in Cross-Cultural Supervision and now lecturing this paper, the advantages to studying at MIT are endless with MIT graduates in great demand in government and non-government sectors of our community.
