Pasifika strategies for success workshop 2: Know and work with Pasifika Communities
Who should attend
Teachers who work with Pasifika learners from early childhood to adult education, for example:
- Tertiary teachers with Pasifika learners
- Secondary or primary school teachers with Pasifika learners
- Industry or corporate training facilitators with Pasifika staff/employees
- Teachers who speak Pasifika languages who want to teach the language (TS 3)
Course highlights
This course is focused on providing creative ways for teachers to connect with Pasifika learners to enable them to engage more in classroom/online learning environments by becoming culturally responsive to their learning needs and supporting Pasifika learners in developing a life-long passion for learning.
