Scholarships

There are scholarships and grants available to Māori students to help with your study, including those offered by community organisations, government departments and businesses.

Youth Guarantee Programme

Manukau Institute of Technology has free spaces for young people to study and gain Level 3 certificate qualification. This will help you to get the skills and qualifications for great jobs, over a wide range of industries.

Māori and Pasifika Trades Training

The Auckland Māori and Pasifika Trades Training (MPTT) scholarship programme is an initiative to encourage young Māori and Pasifika people to gain trade qualifications, New Zealand apprenticeships and employment.

Te Ara Oranga

If you are Māori and Pasifika and choose to study nursing or health with MIT, you’ll get support throughout your journey from study to employment with Te Ara Oranga (TAO).
