Application criteria:
- Be of Māori or Pasifika descent and be passionate about improving health outcomes for Māori or Pasifika
- Enrolling in any of the following programmes:
- Bachelor of Nursing Pacific (Level 7)
- Bachelor of Nursing (Level 7)
- Bachelor of Applied Counselling (Level 7)
- Bachelor of Applied Social Work (Level 7)
- Graduate Certificate in Cross Cultural Supervision (Level 7)
- New Zealand Diploma in Enrolled Nursing (Level 5)
- New Zealand Certificate in Public Health and Health Promotion (Level 5)
- New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 4) Nursing Studies
- New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Social and Community Services) (Level 4) with strands in Community Healthwork and Mental Health and Addiction Support
- New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 4) Education and Social Sciences
- New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 3) Social Work
- New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) strands Health Assistance or Support Work
- New Zealand Certificate in Study and Career Preparation (Level 3) Nursing and Health Studies
- Be a new student to MIT or be enrolling as a new student into any of the above programmes
- Show a commitment to improving health outcomes for Māori and Pasifika
- Be passionate about a long-term career in the health industry.
